TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Frederick Fitzgerald, 5 North Street, Manchester Square
Date21 January 1892
DescriptionRix states that if Fitzgerald believes he is strong enough to do the heavy work which was shown to him by Mr Kennedy, they would be glad to engage him from 1 February 1892. The hours of the post are from 8.30am to 6pm, with longer hours on Thursdays and shorter hours on Saturdays. But it is noted that he must also be prepared to give service beyond his regular hours on infrequent special occasions. Rix gives the wages as six shillings a week.

Rix says that they would be glad if Fitzgerald's brother could stay with them until he is ready to begin work.
