TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to R W Genese, University College, Aberystwyth
Date23 January 1892
DescriptionRix, responding to Genese's note of previous day, states that the University of Abersytwyth has been placed on the list of those to receive the Royal Society's publications. Their printers were ordered to send the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' as issued, and so he asks to be informed as to whether Genese has received them.

He explains that 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' are sent only when they are applied for, unless they wish to file with the Society a standing order for delivery upon issue, which is then regarded as equivalent to a receipt. Rix notes that there is one volume now due to them, which will be sent on the strength of the letter just received.
