Chambers believes she could take an extra copyist at once, and suggests that to save expense she might have a young girl of 13 or 14 who would come for five or six shillings a week to cut the leaves of the periodicals and do easy English copying. Rix asks to know if Evans favours this suggestion, and if he should book at once for a girl of this description, or wait for the next Committee meeting. |
