Date26 January 1892
DescriptionRix states that he has not yet obtained the necessary signatures to a letter formally informing Herschell that he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society on the previous Thursday; so, to avoid inconvenience to him, Rix writes in an unofficial capacity to let Herschel know that next Thursday, or one of the following three Thursdays, he will be required to be present for admission.
