Description | Rix calls attention to the fact that, in a notice of the 'Handy Assurance Manual' appearing in the 'Times' on 12 March, the letters F.R.S [Fellow of the Royal Society] are attached to the name of Mr William Bourne, and asks if this is reproduced in ths book itself. He explains that it is probably a mistake for F.S.S. [Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society], and further states that Fellows of that Society are only entitled to use of the letters F.S.S, and not F.R.S.S. or F.R.S., as explained in their regulations. |
