TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Librarian, Bergens Museum Bibliothek, Bergen [Norway]
Date25 September 1891
DescriptionRix responds to their letter to state that although there is an entry in their delivery-book for the parcel as having been sent via Wilson Lane on 21 August, the absence of a receipt from the parcel office or from the Bergens Museum, suggests that it did not actually go. So as to save them from losing out, Rix is sending a duplicate parcel to them, containing 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' 1889, series A and B, via Hull.
