TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Richard Thorne Thorne, Local Government Board, Whitehall
Date19 October 1891
DescriptionRix sends thanks for Thorne's kind offer expressed in his note of 17 October, but states that while they may be glad to accept it, when Mr White spoke to Thorne on the matter he may not have considered the question of the space available. He is uncertain as to whether they can find room, but he has spoken to Professor Michael Foster, who will consult with the Officers regarding the opportunity of acquiring the set of Reports which Thorne is willing to present.

Rix believes that, although crowded, they will find a way to make space for the Reports.
