TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Allan Wyon
Date6 November 1891
Description'My dear Wyon,
It has been our custom each year to privately inform the engraver to the Mint of the names for the Royal Medals without waiting for the Royal Assent. If we wait for it the time left before our anniversary day is so short that there is a difficulty in getting them done. I am not sure who is now the engraver to the Mint by whom the Royal Medals will be done, but I thought you could perhaps tell me.
Yours truly
Herbert Rix
