TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [Augustus Edward Hough] Love, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date20 June 1914
DescriptionThe President and Council had at their meeting on 18 June agreed to submit Love's name to the Treasury as a delegate to the Conferences of the International Association in succession to the late Sir David Gill. As the suggestion was Professor [Arthur] Schuster's, Harrison took it for granted that he had consulted Love about it, but a note from him now throws that into doubt. Shall be glad to hear whether he consents to being nominated.
