Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Alfred Bray Kempe, Treasurer of the Royal Society |
Date | 6 November 1914 |
Description | The Council's report ought to be sent to press by Wednesday or Thursday, so Harrison would like his proposed amendments. It would save time if he were to send it off to Professor Schuster at Yeldall. Had an interview with the firm who wrote about 57 Basinghall Street. The result was that Mr Lang is to be advised to write to ask the Royal Society to ask for an extension of time to pay the rent until he is able to look into the prospects of obtaining rents from the tenants of the offices into which the premises are divided.
Saw Keen yesterday, and 18 November would suit him for going through the accounts for the audit. The Finance Committee might meet on the Monday before the audit. |
