TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr [Augustus Desire] Waller, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date29 April 1914
DescriptionReplying to his letter of 25 April, Harrison has searched and finds that the illustrations from which the published figures in Professor Bose's paper on the Mimosa were reproduced and are in the Royal Society's possession. They were probably retained by the communicator or author when passing the proofs of the prints. These figures were not original automatic records, but had in appearance of prints from process blocks or photographs made from originals.

Harrison's recollection, which concurs with that or Mr White, is confirmed with comparison with some additional illustrations of the same character which were not published with the paper, and which are still in the Royal Society's possession.
