DescriptionThe Mathematics Committee hvd had Mr Chappell's paper on the simplification of the arithmetical processes of involution and evolution before them and are of the opinion t is not suitable for publication in full by the Royal Society. Harrison writes that, if the author is prepared to furnish an abstract to occupy one of two pages, the Committee would be prepared to consider it favourably for publication in the Proceedings.
