TitleCopy letter from Arthur Schuster, Secretary of the Royal Society to Professor Hugh Longbourne Callendar FRS
Date30 April 1915
Description'Mr Tucker's paper "Heats of dilution of concentrated solutions" seems a valuable contribution and I anticipate that the Committee will take a favourable (word left out?) of its publication in the PHilosophical Transactions. It has been suggested however that nothing is said in the paper as regards the purity of the material. Perhaps the author could add a paragraph to say what precautions he has taken or give some reasons that the amount of impurities possibly present would not materially affect the result.
As the Committee meets shortly it would save time, if I could communicate to them any comment the author would like to make on the above suggestion.'
