Description'In reply to your letter of April 29th, I have to inform you that no paper can be received by the Royal Society unless it be communicated by a Fellow of the Society. As you mentioned Professor Hull's name I wrote to him with reference to the paper and he tells me he does not intend to communicate it, nor does he hold himself responsible for its contents. I return the papers herewith, and remain.'
