TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to Messrs McFarland & Erskine, McDonald Road, Edinburgh
Date19 November 1914
Description'I am in receipt of your letter of the 16th instant, enclosing one from Dr Kidston and samples of your lithographic and collotype work.
We have in former years occasionally given work to your firm, as you will find by reference to your books, and the work gave satisfaction.
We may be able to do the same on occasion in the future, but just now publication work is below the average in amount and will probably remain so for some time, so that it is difficult to make any definite promise.'
