TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to The Secretary, The Royal Agricultural Society
Date28 March 1916
DescriptionLetter expressing regret that two representatives from The Royal Agricultural Society, Mr. Bathurst and Mr. Turner, had written to the "Times" to express their dismay at not being invited to the recent conference of Scientific Societies. The author explains that the invitation to the conference had been personally posted by him and as such there seemed to have been a miscarrige of post as the invitation was never received by The Royal Agricultural Society. The author also explains that the conference was only a preliminary discussion and that there will be opportunity for The Royal Agricultural Society to be represented at future deliberations.
Letter is headed as "unofficial".
