TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Sir Dugald Clerk, Chairman of the Applied Sciences Committee and FRS
Date1 March 1919
DescriptionInforms Sir Dugald Clerk that the reports of the Applied Sciences Committees were recently read to Council and they appear to be incorrect, with Sir Clerk's name being counted twice. Notes that the full number of the revised Committee is twelve, therefore there is no reason to retire four members at the end of this year, rather three every year. Asks Sir Clerk if he agrees with this correction and, if so, if the Council can correct it without bringing it before the Committee again.
