TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Sir [Edwin] Ray Lankester, Chairman of the Challenger Reports Committee and FRS
Date13 March 1919
DescriptionInforms Sir [Edwin] Ray Lankester that he has been enquiring into the publication of Mr. [James] Reid Moir's paper. Explains that in 1915 the Council directed the postponing of publishing 'heavy papers' until after the war. Since then permission has been granted to begin printing these in the order they were received. Notes that the most recent to be printed was number 66. As Mr. Moir's paper is number 79, he cannot understand how Sir Lankester has the impression that it has already been printed.
