Informs the Surveyor of Taxes that Dr. [Dukinfield Henry] Scott, Professor [William Abbott] Herdman's predecessor, is happy to adjust the matter by paying the balance of the tax. Asks the Surveyor to let Dr. Scott know what sum this amounts to.
