Description | The Society is vexed to learn that a parcel sent on 21 August 1890 has only just arrived in Bergen, having been sent all round Germany and delayed two years upon the road. In addition to heavy charges of carriage, the Society has sent duplicate copies to the library which will now have to be sent back. It appears preposterous that the Messrs should delay their parcels in this way. Where the Messrs have no more direct communication with any academy, the Society should be informed, so that the parcels can be sent by some other means. |
