DescriptionFoster asks Fremantle to give instructions for the striking of the Royal Society's Copley, Rumford, Davy and Darwin medals. They will be required for presentation on 30 November. The names are; Rudolph Virchow for the Copley, Nils C Dunér for the Rumford, and François-Marie Raoult for the Davy. The Darwin Medal is to be silver and Foster states the inscription that should be engraved upon it.
