DescriptionLord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] has placed his resignation as a member of the Governing Body of Rugby School in the hands of the Bishop of London and Foster is to ask that the Secretary inform the Right Reverend the Chairman, and the members of the Governing Board that the President and Council of the Royal Society have nominated Arthur William Rucker as Rayleigh's successor.
