TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor D E Jones, Ellenslea, 70 Lichfield Road, Stafford
Date23 May 1892
DescriptionRix finds that Dr Armstrong has previously given permission to Jones to share his right in borrowing volumes [from the library], but in the present instance Rix will have to ask Jones to return the volumes in two or three days since they happen to be books in constant use. They will send at once the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' for 1889 and on the return of this he will send for a like brief time volume 39 of 'Nature'. Rix does not quite understand Jones' note and wonders if he is altogether without a list of Dr Humpridge's[?] apparatus, or whether he merely did not have it with him when he was at Aberystwyth. If the former he will have the list copied and sent.
