DescriptionPapers read before the Royal Society can only be communicated to journals through the office and after the final corrections have been made for the press. Rix is much obliged to Ellis for calling attention to the irregularity of the publication of Ellis' paper in 'Nature'. The 50 copies for Ellis' own use will be sent shortly. Annotated that Rix believes that the paper was published in 'Nature' without even the author's consent. Enquiries will be made.
