DescriptionWith reference to his Lordship's despatch number 28 of 13th ultimo, respecting the proposed expedition of the Royal Society to observe the total eclipse of the sun near Ceara on the 16 April 1893, Greville has received a note from the Brazilian Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs, to whom he applied for the information desired by the Royal Society, stating that the Minister has referred the matter to the Ministry of War, which Department has at present the direction of astronomical observations.
