TitleCopy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Professor [John William] Nicholson, Chairman of the Mathematics Committee and FRS
Date10 December 1920
DescriptionInforms Professor [John William] Nicholson that [Alfred George] Greenhill's paper, 'Electrification of an insulated lens and allied problems treated by the stream function', is estimated to print at 13 pages. Asks if it should be passed under Standing Order 43. Also informs Professor Nicholson that they have received a paper by J. Mercer, 'Linear transformations and functions of a positive type'. Notes that it is probably a 'Proceedings' paper but suggests sending it to a referee regardless.
