Date16 December 1920
DescriptionInforms David Prain that the Tropical Diseases Committee were of the opinion that in order to ensure applications for the Tata Professorships are as widespread as possible it would be necessary to advertise in English, American and Indian journals. Notes that this is expected to cost around £50 and that they have asked the India Office if they would difray this expense. Asks if in the event of the India Office refusing to pay, Sir Prain would agree to the cost being met out of the Government Enquiries Account.
