TitleCopy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Charles [Thomas] Heycock Esquire, Chairman of the Chemistry Committee and FRS
Date2 December 1920
DescriptionAsks Mr. Charles [Thomas] Heycock to provide a referee report on the enclosed paper by [John] L. Haughton and Kathleen E. Bingham, 'The constitution of the alloys of aluminium, copper and zinc, containing high percentages of zinc'. Explains that two referees have already agreed that large portions of the paper are of little scientific interest and therefore the Society should only publish it in a condensed form; however, that this sentiment has been protested by the communicator of the paper, Dr. [Walter] Rosenhain. Asks Mr. Heycock to read the paper and offer his advice on the matter.
