TitleCopy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Prof. [Godfrey Harold] Hardy, FRS
Date25 March 1926
DescriptionAdvices [Godfrey Harold] Hardy as to the course of action to gain a grant for the publication of Miss Hudson's book. That the Government Publication Grant would be the most suitable route, but warns there may not be much chance of success if the Mathematical Society asks for £300 again. The other option is the fund given by Brunner Mond to be used specifically for the publication of Physics and Mathematical papers. Informs that regulations governing the Government Publication Fund can be found in the year book. That the application can be made either by a member of the London Mathematical Society, or preferably by the chairman of the Mathematical Committee, [Sydney] Chapman.
