DescriptionFoster is directed by the President and Council to express regret at the misunderstanding which has arisen and to thank Seeley for the offer of the valuable fossils he obtained in South Africa. Asks if he would be correct in writing to Sir W Flower and explaining that the skeleton of which Foster wrote before, is presented to the British Museum by the Royal Society, having been given to the Society by Seeley. Also asks for detailed instruction as to the specimen Seleey wishes to be sent to St Petersburgh.
