TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor William Edward Ayrton, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date27 March 1893
DescriptionRix is truly sorry to plague Ayrton so much about papers that have been referred to him but he must for a second time call in the paper by Mr [R Wallace] Stewart, since Stewart desires to print it for the DSc degree of the London University, and the President [William Thomson] wishes to afford him every facility for that purpose.

The thesis has to be presented before 1st April and it is as much as they can manage to get it into print by that date if Ayrton can return it promptly. Asks for the paper to be returned by Wednesday morning as the Society closes on the evening of that day for the Easter holidays.
