TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to A Smith Woodward, British Museum (Natural History), Cromwell Road, S.W.
Date23 February 1894
Description'Dear Sir,
Sir John Lubbock informs me that M. L. Pigorini of Rome, an eminent archaeologist, is ambitious to have a copy of Mr. Cooke's abstract with your Appendix "On the Har Dalam Cavern". Do you happen to have a spare separate copy left? He would take it as a great compliment that it should come from the Author, if you are inclined to send him one. His address is: "Museo Nazionale Preistorico ed Etnogafico, Rome".
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
