TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Charles Chree, Kew Observatory, Richmond
Date25 September 1893
Description'Dear Mr Chree,
In answer to your letter of the 9th August (which was received while I was absent from England), I now beg leave to inclose cheque for £242-14-2, half-yearly interest on the Cassiot Trust. If you will kindly apply for this to me about the second week of January and July, we can usually make the payment at those dates. As the dividends are paid direct to our bankers, they are apt to be overlooked unless application is made for them.
Yours faithfully,
Herbert Rix
Asst Sec RS [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
