TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to The Cambridge Engraving, Cambridge
Date25 September 1893
Description'Dear Sir,
I am rather disturbed to find what a large amount of work is still in your hands, some of which you have had now for many weeks and even months. We are still waiting for proofs of Mr Groom's plates, also of Mr Hardy's. Mr Newton has been in once or twice, and is anxious about his paper; Messrs Boyce & Evans, and [Robert William] Boyce & [Nusserwangi Fakirgi] Surveyor are both waiting for plates; besides which you have in hand plates for Weymouth Reid, and Heape. Pray do your best to push forward these matters, as our publication work is getting very seriously behind.
Yours truly
Herbert Rix
Asst Sec RS [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
