Date2 October 1893
Description'Dear Sir,
In answer to your note of the 29th, I find that proofs of your paper were sent you on the 12th June, and returned by you corrected. Perhaps you have written the word "Proofs" inadvertently for "author's copies"? If these have not reached you, kindly let me know, that I may communicate with the printers, who should send them direct to the authors. The paper is published in the last issued number of "Proceedings" ['Proceedings of the Royal Society'] No. 326.
Yours truly
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
