TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to George Ellis, 8 Bolton Road, St John's Wood
Date20 October 1893
Description'Dear Sir,
Your letter of the 13th was wrongly addressed, and has been wandering about. I am prepared to return the miniature at once if you desire, but if you can let me keep it until next Thursday, there will then be a meeting of the Officers and I shall be able to submit it to them. You will understand that the "Long Vacation" has prevented my doing so before this.
Yours truly,
Herbert Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
