TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to [John William Strutt] Lord Rayleigh
Date8 July 1893
DescriptionRix asks if Rayleigh has any reports on a paper by Dr James Samuel Risien Russell on knee-jerk reactions, as he cannot locate them. The paper was passed 'conditionally', and he had wanted to ascertain whether the conditions have been fulfulled. However, as it was passed three months ago Rix assumes it is alright, and so has proceeded to put it into paper.

A postscript enquires about another, more recent, paper by Russell, which has been passed for 'Proceedings of the Royal Society'. Rix asks if he is to follow Russell's instructions to the referees, that the historical portion be removed but the plates which they objected to be retained.
