TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr James Samuel Risien Russell
Date10 July 1893
DescriptionRix explains that Russell's paper is to be published in 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' with the omission of the historical portion. He sends the manuscript on loan with the part for omission marked on it to check whether it is correct, and to ask that he make any other modifications made necessary by the omission, with reference to the enclosed printed notice.

Rix emphasises that the entire manuscript needs to be returned for preservation in the Royal Society's Archives.
