Description | Rix states that he has looked into their account sales, and while they do not approve of their method of deducting the value of numbers of the September papers "returned in excess", they are willing to allow the three pounds, 15 shillings and three pence deducted in this way, with the exception of five numbers of which none were returned "in excess".
He encloses an account for 11 shillings and 10 pence for the five numbers mentioned, and asks that they be credited for the amount. Rix encloses a receipt for the 61 pounds and three shllings sent by cheque. |
