TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to [John William Strutt] Lord Rayleigh, Secretary, Royal Society
Date22 December 1893
DescriptionRix reports that he has sent on Rayleigh's note to Edwin Bailey Elliott, along with a note from himself proposing half-page blocks if all the figures must be shown. This is noted as the Treasurer's suggestion, and would reduce the expense.

He also notes that they sent Rayleigh extracts from the referees' reports on Miss Charlotte Angas Scott's paper, but he does not know if Rayleigh sent these on to Scott in Pennsylvania, they did not come through the Society's hands, but he observes that it will be necessary to wait until the figures have been amended in line with suggestions before they are begun. Rix asks if he can assume the suggestions have been sent to Scott.
