Date15 August 1894
Description'Sir,
There is nothing to report to you of importance. Lord Rayleigh has been in to-day. Prof. John Kvacsala of Dorpal University, came yesterday desiring to look at the Archives for letters of Comenius. He found one from Oldenburg. He copied this letter and left it with me pending permission to make extracts. It is to be sent to the Fr. Jos. Akademie, Prague. Shall I send it before formal leave of Council?
Yr [Your] obedient servant,
T.E. James'.
