TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Magnus Gösta Mittag-Leffler, Editor of the 'Acta Mathematica', Stockholm, Sweden
Date11 April 1894
DescriptionRix writes to remind Mittag-Leffler of an earlier letter of 15 August 1888, in which he informed them that the President and Council of the Royal Society had agreed to send him the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' and the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' in exchange for the 'Acta Mathematica' and the 'Bibliotheca Mathematica'. They have since heard that the latter was disassociated from the 'Acta Mathematica', but they have continued to send both of the Royal Society's journals.

Rix asks if they have received the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' through the Swedish Consul, as they have not received any acknowledgement of their receipt. He also draws attention to the fact that they have never, since the exchange was instituted, received a single copy of either 'Acta' or 'Bibliotheca'. Rix asks that they transmit all the back numbers from 1887, and inform them of whether they desire the Royal Society to retain their publications on their exchange lists.
