TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Joseph Norman Lockyer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date25 April 1894
Description'Dear Sir,
In answer to Mr Fowler's letter of the 12th inst. [instant], I have now ascertained the cost of making a second attempt at the meteorite spectra, and the Secretaries have agreed to the same. The original is, I think, in your hands. If you will please carry out your suggestion to improve the spectrum region "b-D", and if you will, at the same time, somewhat reduce the height of the plate so as to prevent risk of cutting when we trim for binding, I will then send this to the Woodburytype Co. with order to make new proofs.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
