Description | In response to his card, Rix sends the last two proofs they have of Clowes' paper, and notes that this is all they can do as they he has already had more than the usual number.
Rix reminds him that they have been waiting for some time for the return of his corrected proof and manuscript, and asks that he returns them as soon as possible. He also asks that Clowes fill up and return the inclosed form, and states that his paper was fixed the previous day for 10 May. Rix further highlights that no copies of his paper may be communicated to any journal, except through the Royal Society's office, and notes that this rule is now strictly observed. |
