TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Ernest Howard Griffiths
Date27 April 1894
DescriptionRix states that as Griffiths' exhibit came so late, it will be impossible for them to give him the requested 10 square feet of table space.

He asks whether he could have the thermometers placed and fixed vertically, and explains that they were able to do this without issue for all of Mr Callendar's thermometers the previous year. If this solution were adopted, he could run the wires out of a nearby window. Rix further explains that although there will not be a fire convenient for Griffiths to use, he could use a Bunsen burner or a small gas furnace, provided there was no unpleasant smell.
