Description'Sir,
In reply to your letter of May 22nd., I am directed by the President and Council to state that they are willing to authorise, for the purpose named in your letter, the temporary return to your Department for a period of three weeks, of Parliamentary copies of the Imperial Pound (P.C.2) and of Imperial Standard Yard (No. 3), in the same manner as at the Decennial Comparison, viz., that the copies should be delivered to an Officer of the Standards Department and a written acknowledgement given.
