TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to Francis Galton, Chairman of the Kew Committee
Date26 May 1894
DescriptionFoster notes that the difficulties arising from post intended for the Kew Observatory being sent to the Royal Gardens Kew has been brought before the President and Council of the Royal Society again by Her Majesty's Office of Works. They are aware that in May 1892 they called the attention of the Kew Committee to the matter, and remember the reply given. However, they believe some steps should be taken, and suggest that the title of the Committee and Observatory be changed to "Richmond (late Kew)".
