TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster to Sir William Henry Flower, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date2 June 1894
DescriptionFoster mentions that when a grant was made by the Government Grant Committee to Mr Scott-Elliot in aid of his collecting in Uganda, a resolution was passed which recommended that it be paid in furtherance of his botanical exploration of Uganda and the 'mountainous region north and west of the Victoria Nyanza', providing it is approached from Mombass, and the collections be placed at the disposal of the Royal Society.

Foster understands that the collections have been sent from Scott-Elliot to the Natural History Museum, and asks if this is the case, so that the Society may decide how to dispose of the collections.
