TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Robert Brudenell Carter, 27 Queen Anne Street, W.
Date9 June 1894
Description'Dear Sir,
You remember that at a meeting of the Colour Vision Committee Mr Lovibond showed his "Tintometer". A portion of the apparatus was left in the room after the meeting of the Committee and returned to Mr Lovibond, but the box of slides was apparently borrowed by some member of the Committee, and Mr Lovibond requests that it may now be returned to him. Will you tell me whether it was borrowed by yourself, or whether you ^chance to^ remember to whom it was lent?
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
