TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to The Agent-General for New South Wales, 9 Victoria Street, S.W.
Date9 July 1894
DescriptionRix explains that the volumes on 'The Wealth and Progress of New South Wales, 1893', recently presented to the Royal Society by the Agent-General, do not come within the scope of the Royal Society. He therefore suggests that they might instead be bestowed on an institution which deals with history or statistics, especially as he imagines that the volumes will be part of a long series and he wishes to avoid them being misplaced. He sends thanks for their kindness in presenting this and other works, most of which are greatly valued by the Society.
